12 months ago LD took advantage of our free consultation to enquire about how best her smile could be improved. She had been to several other dentists who proposed to correct her smile using veneers.

Once the process of veneers was explained to LD, the treatment didn’t appeal for the fact that her natural teeth would have been ‘shaved down’ to create space for the veneers. On her consultation we advised that veneers were unlikely to correct her smile as the final shape of the veneers would appear relatively unaesthetic.

Before

LD has had treatment regarding her smile for a number of years after wearing Fixed metal braces, her condition then relapsed and the picture shows where she was 12 months ago. As veneers was not an option of treatment for LD we provided her with the following choices:

To seek advice from an specialist Orthodontist to completely remove the gaps of her upper and lower teeth.. however this would mean wearing fixed appliances

To close the gaps at the front of her smile using Invisalign and push the upper gap to a point where no one would notice.

LD had completed a great deal of research, watching the videos on YouTube, reading online blogs and also the clinical research on Invisalign, the first option did not appeal as she did not want to wear fixed appliances again and so the relatively invisible Invisalign treatment was the best option for her.

After 12 months of treatment, LD’s issue regarding her smile have resolved and is now wearing Vivera retainers (not that any one notices!). We were able to move the gaps on her upper teeth to the back of her smile and she is really happy about it.

After

LD’s journey all started with a free consultation, If you or anyone else you know has an issue give us a call on 0151 236 6578 or email suzy@ollieanddarsh.co.uk and we’ll see how we can help

AS for LD, she’s now happily smiling away!

Kind Regards

OS

As regular followers of our blog will know, one of our clients, Nikos Papadopoulos, has been keeping an Invisalign diary and posting his experiences, thoughts and feelings on on our blog. Nikos has kept the diary up to date on a regular basis and if you are considering Invisalign treatment then reading through his entries will paint a picture of what it is really like to be an Invisalign patient at Ollie and Darsh.

Recently we armed Nikos with a video camera and saked him if he would be kind enough to do his next diary update as a video diary – he obliged and below is Nikos’ latest Invisalign diary update, filmed from his home country, Greece.

We are approaching the summer now and it’s time to post an update we have received from one of our clients, Nikos Papadopoulos who has kindly agreed to keep a diary of his experiences throughout his Invisalign treatment here at Ollie & Darsh. Nikos is providing a ‘patient side view’ of the treatment and we hope by following his blog it may answer some questions you may have about the Invisalign treatment.

Hello everyone

Its nearly 5 weeks since I was here trying to update you about my Ollie and Darsh experience and today is the last time I have decided to write you a bit more ….Not because I have decided not to continue anymore, not because I am near the end of my treatment..but because it’s time for me to try something new so in few weeks times fingers crossed if everything goes according the plan you will be able to see me on camera talking to you instead of writing Its something new, and certainly it will be the first time in my life that I am trying to convince the camera to be good to me …so I would hope for your sympathy too

The story with my aligners continues and it’s been nearly a year now , and I have no words really to say thank you to all the team and everything they did and they continue to do for me ( especially to Suzy, Ollie and Shannie, what would I do without you guys…) Through my experience since last september I had the chance to share their thoughts about the expansion of Ollie and Darsh and now their new lounge is looking just amazing…exactly as amazing as the customer service they offer.

I wouldn’t like to repeat again the same things every time , thats why I will keep my email simple this time and I would like to remind you that next time you hear from me it will be a very special time and hopefully a nice surprise for all of you … till then please stay here as I am sure you wont be disappointed.

Nikos
