Overall, an average treatment takes between 9 and 18 months, and is made up of the following steps:
Your first visit is with Suzy who will go through the product step by step. Suzy will give you a demonstration of Invisalign and can show you some of our outstanding results.
Secondly you will meet with either Ollie or Darsh who are certified Invisalign trained practitioners for an evaluation about your treatment.
Diagnostics will be taken which include an x-ray, photographs of your smile and impressions and based on Ollie and Darsh’s treatment plan and your dental records. A virtual 3D image known as your ‘clin check’ is generated; this shows you the movement of your teeth from the current position to the desired final position.
Once you, Ollie and Darsh have approved the plan, the aligners are made to custom-fit your teeth. The number of aligners is individual and varies for each person.
You wear your aligners about 22 hours every day, only removing them to eat, brush, and floss, or for a specific occasion. Every two weeks, you switch to a new set of aligners. The aligners will gradually move your teeth into their final prescribed position. You will visit Ollie and Darsh every two months this allows us to monitor your progress and enables us to be able to provide your next four packets of Aligners.
