How The Treatment Works

Overall, an average treatment takes about a year and is made up of these main steps:

2. Your provider takes pictures and impressions of your teeth, and maps out a precise visual plan of your tooth move ments, from the beginning to the end of your treatment.
3. Aligners are made to custom-fit your teeth. The number of aligners changes for each person.
4. You wear your aligners about 20 to 22 hours everyday, except to eat, brush, and floss, or go to a special event.
5. About every two weeks, you swap your old aligners for new ones. The aligners will gradually move your teeth into their final prescribed position.
