A few years ago there she was quoted as saying that her dad wouldn’t let her get her teeth done.
However, if you look at the picture you can see that the teeth definitely appear straighter and whiter, and the top teeth are less prominent. How has she done this? We think that Miley has had a combination of treatments.
Firstly we think she has had porcelain veneers fitted. Veneers are wafer thin porcelain laminates which fit over the teeth and dramatically improve the appearance of less than perfect teeth. To see the kind of dramatic results that veneers can produce you just need to look at the difference in the two photos.
Secondly we think she has had teeth whitening treatment to make them appear lighter and brighter. From our own experience we know that this type of teeth whitening treatment can be extremely effective and again if you look at the pictures above you can see the difference in the brightness of the smile.
Although Miley’s teeth look great, we probably would have advised someone of her age to have Invisalign treatment rather than veneers. Invisalign treatment is much more suitable for teens and it permanently straightens the teeth rather than covering over the faults. However Invisalign treatment involves months of wearing special invisible braces, and Miley was obviously in a hurry!
